Ricochet Engine β€” Overview & Engineering Principles

Ricochet Engine is a premium 2D projectile physics game and geometry calculation lab. Players aim an electrostatic particle launcher to fire projectile pulses, banking shots off reflective surface obstacles, outer walls, and static or dynamic bumpers to strike target cores. The module features real-time visual vector trajectory path prediction, dynamic collision geometry, glassmorphic dashboards, and arpeggiated audio feedback synthesized entirely in your browser.

Zero-Trust Client Execution

True to UtiLabs' zero-trust engineering principles, all projectile coordinates, collision normals, trajectory steps, and state metrics are computed locally in client memory using pure TypeScript routines. No tracking data or match sessions are exported, maintaining a secure, private, and offline-compatible geometry laboratory.

Step-by-Step Operation Guide

  1. Select your campaign level difficulty (Cassini Bounds, Cavern Passage, or Quantum Core) to configure the target bumper count.
  2. Use the interactive Console dials or drag directly on the canvas viewport to adjust the firing angle and launch power.
  3. Inspect the glowing, dashed predictive trajectory line showing the projected bounce path calculated by the recursive raycaster.
  4. Click 'Launch Pulse' to fire the energy projectile. Each consecutive bounce escalates the synthesized audio frequency.
  5. Reach the target core while fulfilling the level's minimum bounce requirement to validate the sweep and lock high scores.
